We design all mechanical, electrical, public health and vertical transportation systems.
The service would ideally include early design workshops with the architect, client and other design professionals so as to fully understand the clients needs and to enable an input into the form, orientation and fabric of the building. In our experience particularly where low energy building is required, it is at this stage that the most meaningful decisions can be made.
As the design progresses through the various stages we will keep the client and design team informed of progress and status of the design via drawn information and stage reports.
Our service will include, if required, advice on procurement options and selection of tenderers/contractors.
Although we are not cost consultants we can offer support to the quantity surveyor and assist in the preparation of cost plans. We often find this to be particularly on smaller projects where the appointment of an M & E Quantity Surveyor is not warranted, that we can offer useful guidance on the likely cost.
All drawn information will be produced using the latest CAD software, wherever possible drawn onto the architect’s backgrounds.
We have a practical approach, believing that provided the design is right, the programme sensible and the contractor is well managed, then the client will achieve the right building at best value.
